Did you know Facebook regularly updates the following web designs every year both for computer and app users?
They have minor changes every now and then but the major redesign just appeared this year.
Why are you starting here? This seems irrelevant.
Nope it's not because the tip happens when you enable the new Facebook now (in case you haven't yet).
You have to find the new "Recent Ad Activity" feature available only when you're in the new FB look.
Here's how to activate that from the old version of FB (desktop):
- UI (user interface or the way the website looks) and
- UX (user experience or the way the website works)

If you're on the app, just update your app in Play/App store and it should have this shiny new feature. Once activated it should look like this with dark and light mode you can easily switch back and forth from:
You will see the Recent Ad Activity button in the left side panel. If it's not yet there, click see more:
This is the gold mine of recent facebook ads you have interacted with or have caught your attention. WHY IS THIS GOOD?
1. You know these ads worked because it charmed you into interacting with it (liking, commenting, sharing, whatever it may be)
2. These ads are live now which means you can learn and reverse engineer whatever it is that these pages did so you can use it for your own ads.
ALL YOU NEED TO DO NOW IS TAKE NOTES.

Here's one from recent ads I saw this week:
My niche is working online so the ads that randomly appear on my feed and which I liked or saved is what normally appears here (and yes you can save normal ads like posts and view them later).
Here's one I particularly liked, a quick video ad from Khalid about becoming a FB ads pro. Here's that ad, check it out yourself or watch below.
Some pointers about this great ad:
1. He's advertising his course through a quick video clip from his face shown for more personable and relatable feel
2. The post outlines what the course is about, and what exactly you'll learn
3. His quick video even shows his authority saying he's a former Facebook ads employee!
4. They enabled a "Sign Up" button which takes you to this landing page where you can enroll (Teachable)
It's so simple and it works, it gathered 587 reactions, 95 comments, and 113 shares as of writing.
What you learned?
1. You must create buttons that redirect people to an actual product/service page that you promised in the ad. Be straightforward. Khalid wants you to enroll in his course, he sends you to his course
2. Video explainers work.
Here's another great ad from one of my most favorite marketers alive today, Noah Kagan. This one was from May and has probably already netted him thousands of new subscribers. Why this ad works?
1. It's fun, look at him goofing around
2. I know Noah, and seeing his face both in the ad photo and page display picture builds credibility
3. His subscribe button works and does what it promises
PS: Subscribe to him and you'll learn ton of new things, no regrets!
Another ad from personal life coach Edwin Soriano also has a short video which promoted his one time no-replay webinar. Why this works?
1. Quick vid with his face
2. You get the benefits outlined
3. A one time event which means you shouldn't miss it!
4. Super easy to join, just send him a message
5. Ads with send a message button works best if you want to gather new leads, and grow your following, plus it gets approved right away
WE'RE ARE WE GETTING WITH THIS?
1. You don't need to pay expensive courses to learn Facebook ads
2. There's even literally a FREE COURSE from FACEBOOK itself called Blueprint. Check it out, review and take the tests
3. If you're a visual learner, there are FREE YOUTUBE COURSES here, here, and here ALL highly recommended and free forever.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
1. BROWSE FACEBOOK, AND WHEN YOU SEE AN AD THAT INTERESTS YOU, LIKE IT, REACT TO IT, COMMENT ON IT OR SAVE IT.
That's the biggest takeaway. Do it now or when you're randomly facebooking daily. Set time to review ads you saw recently and copy them because they all work.
